I dont want to pick an arguement with anyone. It seems every ****in thread turns into people slamming each other.

But i didnt say anything in favour of either Calzaghe or Jones. Just that Holmes coming out of retirement to fight a young Tyson and getting KO'd, is very different IMO to Jones being KTFO previously and losing on points to a 36 year old Calzaghe.

Maybe if Jones carries on fighting and no one comes close to beating him the way Calzaghe did, there is a comparison to be made.

Maybe the main difference is the way they won.

Tyson was being smacked by Holmes jab at the beginning of their last round and then got destroyed him with a monster right hand.
Calzaghe didnt just land a big punch, he out worked, out moved and out boxed Jones. Maybe making the 'still fast Jones miss so many punches so easily was the most impressive thing.
