Good match up. Could go either way IMHO; Froch hasn't been tested at that level, but that doesn't mean he can't pass. He's a very good fighter.

Ridiculous attempts to call out Calzaghe aside, Froch has done enough to earn a shot at the real big time and big money.

These types of fights do need to happen at SMW next year. We need to see the likes of Kessler, Bute, Taylor, Froch, Inkin, Bika, Andrade and (hopefully later next year) Abraham fighting each other. If this happens then SMW could be one of the most entertaining divisions in 2009.

Lets hope DiBella has in interest in the fight, he did say that they aren't interested in Froch.

Froch leaves himself wide open i wouldn't be surprised if Taylor beat him.

It's admirable that Froch seems to want to go for the big names on the big stage, but all this talk will look pretty ****** if he ends up getting beat by Pascal.

Froch will definately have to step up his game against Taylor, although he's gonna have to do that against Pascal to win the title. Froch did annoy me with the constant talk and no action but I hope he does do well as he has got the TV deal now with ITV and will be good for British Boxing to have a British World Champion fighting title fights on normal TV.

Carl Froch is a very good fighter and I have hopes that this guy can go all the way. I have been impressed with him everytime I have watched him fight. He is a good sized SMW with decent power, handspeed and an immense uppercut. I believe he has more than a good chance against Taylor, and let's not forget that Taylor has been KO'd once before.

Froch's attitude is one of his best assests. His priority is to win world titles not to make money (though this may change), this shows true hunger and any fighter with the aforementioned attributes and his level of desire is a dangerous fighter.

Froch may not get by Pascal. He shouldn't be looking past him.

between Froch,Taylor and kessler there could be some cracking fights. All three are well skilled but they are also assertive fighters who like to take charge in their bouts.plus any combination of the three would be ultra competitive
