Seriously why did Froch not fight someone in the meantime after he dispatched that Polish guy they plucked from the crowd?

I don't get guys like Froch and Kell Brook, they hardly fight and in Froch's case this is his first fight in world class.
Well said. Pascal is no walk in the park. He is fast and powerful. Not to mention he can take a punch.

I think the winner needs to face Taylor or Kessler. Kess and Taylor need to fight, like right NOW! Kessler needs to fight another big name before the trail goes cold from figting these tomato cans.

Froch is underated, to be honest he only fghts cans because everyone avoids him. He will beat the crap out of Taylor.

I like it how most agree Kessler is #1 at SMW, but suddenly the division is stacked. It's largely also that there's now more belts floating around again since Calzaghe vacating them all. Everyones eager to get them and become the new SMW #1 now they stand a chance.

For me it's clearly between Kessler and Taylor whom has now decided to get involved. with a less dominating win over a lesser Lacy then Joe, I think Kessler should rise to it but Taylor is very well skilled.

My worry for Froch is that he's not got big fights for awhile and is so desperate for them he'll take which ever one, whenever. A Taylor fight is possibly one of the most risky for him, and it's the second he's managed to finally get his hands on a belt.

This Froch/Pascal fight is great! Honestly, both are prospects and unproven but huge upsides. Froch has beaten no one, going past 10 rounds only three times. Pascal, coming out of Fighting Montreal has been in with the better opposition. More of a boxer than a popwer puncher, he is elusive. I was a little disappointed his last time out when he dominated Omar Pittman. i would loike to have seen a bit more fireworks but I understand this isn't his style. He doesn't win close decisions, he out boxes his opponent until the final bell.

As far as Jermain Taylor, he isn't ready for Kessler. taylor is one win removed from consecutive losses. Kessler's only loss was to Calzaghe and Kessler boxed well against Joe. A Taylor bout with the winner of Pascal/Froch makes sense most. Either Froch or Pascal @ MSG, DiBella can make happen. If it were Pascal to fight taylor at the Mecca, Canadians would come down in droves.

Froch has a big mouth and to me is a colorful player in the division. It's good that he finally gets a titlefight so he can see if he has got what it takes at the worldlevel. Should he get by Pascal, which he'd be favoured to do, it would be a nice pairing to see him and Taylor in the ring.

Heck there's so many players at 168 that I'll be happy to see any of the big guns collide!

Provided Taylor doesn't get stage fright, I don't see him having any problems with Froch.

Round 4 KO. This is what you meant to say isn't it buddy?

DiBella is on the record saying he doesn't think he can sell Froch in the United States, and now Hennessey is looking at a fight at MSG?

I don't necessarily trust either guy, but Hennessey is obviously the more delusional of the two. This may be a "free country" but that doesn't mean that just anyone can walk into the mecca and make a reservation.

Carl Froch needs to keep his mind on Pascal cause that right there is a real fight

I hope that it's not all talk. Recently, too many fighters have talked up fights in NY, only to go to Vegas. I think its to hype the fights but whatever. Anyways, if its in NY and they have tickets under $150 (the minimum for Zaghe-Jones), Im there...
