    not... wow roy is SHOT
Maybe i didn't realize how shot Roy was but i didn't think he'd get beat that bad.

I just think Joe stands for a little bit of credit for what he has achieved and help people try to understand why fights with prime Roy and Hopkins didn't happen.

So you didn't watch the Glen Johnson fight?

I said it one of my posts that I kept thinking about this fight. I thought to many people were thinking with the hearts instead of their heads.

Hopkins fight didn't happen because Bernard wouldn't move up...he was focused on 160; easier competition for good money.

The Roy fight didn't happen because of Joe.

the whole time leading up to the fight, i hoped roy won... and if he had anything left maybe he could do it.. but i always said it depends on what hes got left... no fighter has EVER put there hands down and stuck there face in roys range and not gotten hit.... roy couldnt even pull the trigger...

the reality of the matter is, last time roy beat an elite fighter was 2003 against Tarver, and he barely won...

thats the reality of it.... been KOed twice, and beat 3 contenders...

2 months shy of 40... thats a win that cannot redeem Joe as the real deal...

if that was prime roy... id be like holy **** Joe is god....

        but it isnt the case

I was in that tax bracket. I'll admit to that.

And as far as am concerned, the Glen Johnson fight didn't happen.

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying you didn't see the Johnson fight so the fight didn't exist in your mind?

I block it out from my mind.

And what credit Joe would've got for beating Montell Griffin and Eric Harding is any mans guess? ****, why don't we throw Dariusz Michalczewski and Antonio Tarver in to the mix?

He was a nobody from Wales who you couldn't make a pound off and was managed by Frank ''The ****'' Warren!

                    You do the math!
Yeah you're right. He was a nobody. Like say...Tarver. Tarver worked to get his shot. Joe just talked a big game and sat around in his backyard. Big difference.

Yeah if you do that i guess it makes calzaghe look good.

Reality check: Roy has been shot to pieces for years.

I've been saying it for years also.

Moving right along, let's play our favorite game: Anyone care to name any very good (not even elite) but VERY good fighters that either Kessler or Lacy have beaten?
