Let me ask you this who's more well known mayorga or paul williams? at that same venue tell me what fight sold more margarito vs paul williams or shane vs mayorga? as you already heard from earnie who was there and covers the fight for boxingscene 3,500 max were there for the mayorga vs mosley fight. Margarito put more people in the stands fight at the time basically a nobody who not many people knew about at the time. Mosley is a popular fighter signed to Golden Boy. He has a bigger fanbase and is more well known.
He is giving Marg a chance to beat a marquee opponent. I am suprised Mosley is allowing a 50-50, cause Marg does not deserve it.

I think the money has nothing to do with it. I think the risk factor is the main thing. Hell, Paul Williams people offered him more money and he turn that down. If it was about the money he would have taken the Williams fight because it was more than what the Mosley fight is offering. The risk is Mosley has a chance to out pointing tony to a victory (even though I don't think that will happen).
