Im sure Margarito did this to piss off GBP. He calls Mosley out, gets Mosley excited about the fight, then just pulls out. Similar to what ODLH did to him by saying he would fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito then pulling out. Still makes him look like a hypocrite though. I dont want to hear any more crap about "the most feared man", or complaining about "I can't get anyone to fight me". I always thought it was crap anyway, the two biggest guys that look more like natural middleweights(Williams and Margarito) claiming to be the most feared and avoided boxers because they can't get smaller welterweights to fight them. The whole "if you can make 147 then your a welterweight" defense is crap, in that case stop crying about ODLH-Pac, they are both weighing in at 147. Either way people were buying into the "most feared man" bit, you just ruined your main selling point Tony.

Hope Williams beat his ass for being such a prick and holding onto the titles and not even choosing an opponent for so long now. Marg lost alot of respect for you. This is why boxing is messed up right now. Fighters claiming there the best or most feared and not willing to take a dangerous fight for them if the money ain't right. Your not a big draw, so you better take the money while its their for you. because once you lose your title, your going to be back where you were and crying about how no one wants to fight you.

I wouldn't say that after seeing Mosley's last fight. This does seem like a strange decision from Margarito though, seems like he might actually take a whole year off and just wait for Cotto II. His excuse is the money but if he would have fought Mosley then it would have been another HBO headliner against a HOFer, more expose and if he would have won (and he would have been the heavy favourite to win) then it would have made Margarito-Cotto II an even bigger fight.

At this rate the fight is going to do pretty much the name numbers as the first fight, when it is the kind of fight that should be doing Mayweather-Hatton numbers. At least Cotto is fighting, it may not be the fight we were hoping for but he is the one coming off a loss and the Jennings fight is at least one that should make him look good and build up hype up for Marg II.

ok Margs what will you do in the meantime? Cotto is supposedly scheduled to get back in the ring in Feb. If that's the case, is Maragarito just gonna stand on the sidelines and wait until June to fight a rematch with Cotto......Why is it we hear nothing about him having to make a mandatory title defense....Why is it that Berto has one and we hear nothing about Margarito having one.......And WTF is up with Clottey, how are these guys able to hold title betls and not defend them, hmmmm oh yeah they are Bob Arum fighters.........This is what puts a sour taste in people's mouths when it comes to boxing......For weeks Margarito goes around bashing Mosley in the media,and now that Mosley signs/oks a deal to fight him all of a sudden Margs is crying about money?
