    Who deserves more credit

    Floyd Mayweather or Joe Calzaghe?

I think we all know floyd and joe's respective careers so I'm not gonna make one of those gay ass pros and cons things, but who do you think "at the end of the day" deserves more credit for their career.

In my opinion I think Joe does even though he had some questionable career moves at least he stuck it out until he thought he was too old for it.

Assuming Floyd is retired it's got to be Joe. Floyd retired in his prime when dangerous challengers looming.

Joe Calzaghe hardly gets any credit as it is. He deserves some now.

Joe doesn't get the credit he deserves. Floyd gets too much already.

Floyd Mayweather. He fought the better competition throughout the entirety of his career IMO. He took on the prime versions of elite fighters such as Corrales and Castillo. Joe did not do this.

Who were the prime elite fighters that Calzaghe dodged?

I dont think you can argue with the fact that Floyd Mayweather fought more talented opponents then Joe, but the fact that floyd retired early when the Cottos and Margaritos started popping up made him look really bad.

Floyd by some distance. Not really a debate.
