Well, I suggest if anybody wants to learn all around fighting and have the best chance of winning in a street fight, learn MMA. Boxing is a part of it, but it can only get you so far.

And, if you really want to give yourself the best shot; buy yourself a Gun.

Boxing needs to do a better job at marketing; getting more poor kids to fight; build some gyms from tax payer money; help the fighters out and protect them from promoters; have one belt; one ranking system that isn't corrupt; and have the top fighters face each other.

And put some damn fights on Regular TV and more on ESPN if you want to do cable.

I wouldn't mind them giving the fighters the choice of using glove sizes of 6-8 oz max for all weight divisions. Plus, a bit of a smaller ring and some penalties for lack of action.

Hard to tell if that post is hiding under sarcasm. If it is then:

Well I don't know what rock you've been under but the UFC is selling out big. Look at the last PPV. Look at almost any PPV. They are getting good PPV buys also. The small things do make a big difference. Somewhat like the 24/7 feature that boxing has. Everything helps.

      If it isn't sarcasm then:

You're right. Every little bit helps and the PPV buys and sell out crowds of UFC are proof.

boxing doesn't need to learn **** from UFC.. that's why they are going bankrupt and the De La Hoya v. Pacquiao fight is expected to do triple the numbers one of their cards does.

basing it off of quarter reports, Station Casinos lost 25 mill this quarter. Couple that the drunk ravings of former co owner of Affliction Todd Beard and that's where the idea of Zuffa going bankrupt comes from.

Zuffa is in no way, going bankrupt. It'll take a lot to do that. The only problem Zuffa is having is the control of TUF with ****E.
