Ricky just is not on Mayweather's level period, but the deciding factor in the fight, IMO, was speed. Hatton just could not see the straight right leads Floyd was nailing him with. He is used to being the stronger guy and just coming in and imposing his strength. He could no adjust getting hit by those blinding rights all night. They eventually wore him down, made him vulnerable and then he got KTFO.

These are horrible options. He lost because Mayweather out classed him. Putting all time great there is just unnecessary. You can realize Ricky was just out of his league without thinking Floyd is an all time great.

Cortez is incompetent, and his performance was an irritant, but ultimately Hatton lost because Mayweather is the superior fighter.
