Hatton will be the first one to ko overrated Paulie

Malignaggi got wobbled and hurt for long stretches during the Ngoudjo fight.
If Paulie held less he would've been likely tkoed. Malignaggi can't deal with quick pressure fighters (Ngoudjo, Cotto and now Hatton).

Malignaggi showed his further decline in his last fight. He won a SD against N'Dou who is the worst boxer in the 140 pound division, even worse than Cherry against whom Paulie actually had a very good performance.

Hatton is back for blood. In his last fight he won every single round, but he got hurt bad I believe in the 11th. Lazcano is a way harder puncher though so Ricky should not worry about Paulie's 5 kos.

Paulie's last fight will be against Hatton. He'll break both hands and suffer a humiliating beatdown. Inside of 9 Hatton erases his **** looks off the face of boxing.

    What do you guys think?

I hope you are right. Paulie's built a reputation based on NY media hype. But if he beats Hatton, I can't say that anymore.

Paulie built a reputation because he made it out alive against a weight-drained Cotto and he beat a fringe contender in Cherry on BAD.

His clock is ticking. He better get paid well cause Hatton will crush that feminine body of his.

I disagree strongly. I've invested alot of time into making a case for Malignaggie to win by decision.

I think Hatton won't able to reach Paulie as much as he even did Mayweather. Paulie's defense and offense are his legs and alot of lateral movement. He will move and move and pop shot Hatton...Collazo style for most of the rounds. Some of the rounds will be competitive during the few times Malignaggie gets trapped in a corner, but still close and some of em will go to Hatton.

Lets also keep in mind that Hatton too had a bad performance in his last fight and almost got dropped with the same punch that Mayweather dropped him with. And that against a much slower, less effective puncher.

Lets keep in mind that Hatton is getting older and he said, he will not stop drinking. Cutting all that weight year after year has got to be taking a toll on his body and stamina.....NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. Maybe it already showed against Lazcano. The signs are there, Hatton is fading quick and Malignaggie is a slick and trimm/in shape natural jr-welterweight who walks around 150lb at most in between fights.

Malignaggi can be a really good boxer when he puts all his assets together but his performances lately have been erratic to say the least.

You actually feel strongly about Paulie. Why don;t you bet the rest of your points on that fight then?

              Agreed. Hatton beats Paulie up.

I could disagree with pretty much all of this. For starters, Lazcano is a taller guy with decent reach, and he has many more KO's than Paulie (27). Juan Lazcano can punch, probably way harder than some people think. Despite being caught with a few decent shots late in the fight, Ricky won almost every round.

Paulie is no trouble for Hatton.

Man, Brits sure know how to support their fighter. If only the U.S. boxers can get the support that Hatton, Zaghe and Haye get. How about Sturm and Arthur, Vitaly and Wlad.

The only fighters that get that kind of attention in the U.S. are either Mexican, Puertorican or Philipino.

You're right, they do know how to support their fighters, even in defeat. Not sure why you quoted me tho.
