Williams is the best fighter from 147 to 160. Nobody wanted to fight him before he started knocking MF out in the first round. Now.. definitely no one wants to fight him. He has fighters respect and nuts in his pocket. All I want to suggest is that if you are a fighter weighing 147 to 160 DON'T SAY YOU ARE THE BEST UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO FIGHT THIS MAN BECAUSE HE IS CALLING ALL OF YOU OUT. Until proven otherwise he is the best fighter from 147 to 160.

Tons of excuses here, both on this thread, and coming from the fighters themselves. Margarito is scared. Heck, Margarito is scared of Mosley it looks like. Nobody wants to fight PW! What a bunch of LOSERS!

I really want Cotto to beat Jennings, than fight Williams who would be his mandatory, than the winner of that fight Maragrito in a big unification bout. Probably the Ring Magazine title too.

Suggestion for Williams call Winky Wright out

Both Paul Williams and Winky Wright are always talking about no one is willing to fight them well... fight eachother. Williams I have a couple of names for you that I havent heard you mention... I will spell them in caps so there is no confusion WINKY WRIGHT AND ARTHUR ABRAHAM. You say you are willing to fight at 160 well call both of these fighters out. Winky seems to be looking for a big fight (after his tuneup) and Abraham doesnt seem to be afraid to fight anyone. Call them out.

ahahah... they are all scared that williams will beat up their fav fighters. i thought boxing fans WANTED to see competitive fights??? if they say williams has a competitive advantage then they are conceding that williams is the best welterweight right???

Bob Arum isn' letting ANY of his fighters near Williams. Afetr Williams messed up the first unification fight with Cotto and Margarito, careful inspection will show that every Top Rank Fighter (Pavlik, Clottey, and Margarito) Williams has been in talks with has broken down. But P'Dub is just going to have to keep beating contenders until he becomes the mandatory. Plus the boxing public is going to demand that these fighters step up to the plate and fight him. It's just a matter of time.

Williams was in negotiations to fight Wright, but of course Wright feels like he should get De La Hoya money. Taylor, although I KNOW that would be a good scrap is looking to fight champions at 168. Williams doesnt have a belt. I say campaign at 154 since no one wants to fight him at 147. Then after people realize Forest doesnt want to fight him, move up to 160. I think he would carry 160 well and would give Pavlik a FIT. I'm not saying he would beat Kelly, cause Kelly does have a good chin and if PW doesnt throw his punches correctly they have no pop behind him, he wont be ablt o hurt Kelly. But Hopkins proved Kelly cant beat a fighter who doesnt stand in front of him or back up behind Taylor did. And the reason Tony couldnt catch him was because Williams is very mobile when he wants to be.

One of the few times I agree with you, Flawless. The **** is REALLY getting old. PWill was 145 in the Quintana rematch. If he can make the weight, he can make the weight. End of......
