To be fair, the referee was garbage.
But anyway, let's this this gif then, MacChamp. Funny how it takes you 12 seconds to rustle up a Calzaghe one.Comment

Let's cut the crap. Not that I'm saying you're talking crap, I'm just using the term...If the ref is not calling a fair fight, it changes the entire fight. The boxer who not getting the calls from a biased ref takes more risks than he ordinarily would and leaves himself more susceptive to counterpunches if he feels there is no way he can win a decision.
A bad ref changes the entire scope of the fight.
Do you honestly think Barrett could have won that fight, even with a different ref?

Ha ha some of you american fans astound me, this is pathetic!
First of all there is a difference between clipping someone on the inside with a hook which you are completely entitled to do unless the referee shouts break, and rabbit punching. Haye's shots were clearly the first of these and barretts were the latter. I hate to patronising but only people who actually box would be more aware of this
The "knockdown" of haye was clearly a bit of a slip as he missed a punch and got his feet caught square and barretts shot was more of a push, but fair enough it could have been given as a knockdown
BUT who the **** cares, haye absolutely dissected him and did a job on a decent heavy. Some of you and i must stress SOME are an absolute jokeComment

People complain about Cortez during Hatton Vs Mayweather. Would Hatton have won with a different referee?
Nothing wrong with complaining about a ref who, let's be honest, was ****.
It's just these 'haters' will cling to any old **** to discredit Haye.Comment
