If the ref is not calling a fair fight, it changes the entire fight. The boxer who not getting the calls from a biased ref takes more risks than he ordinarily would and leaves himself more susceptive to counterpunches if he feels there is no way he can win a decision.I can't believe all the fuss here. Barrett got knocked out. Why does the ref even matter now? Even if Barrett legitimately knocked Haye down (which I don't believe he did) then how does that help the fact that he got KTFO?
Get used to bad refereeing in boxing. Nothing's new here.
A bad ref changes the entire scope of the fight.Comment
