Robin Reid ROBBED against Calzaghe!

I heard last night that Robin Reid was robbed against Calzaghe. I've never seen the fight so have got no idea how true this statement is.

Somebody fill me in.

Whether or not he was, he should be used to it. The Ottke bout is the most disgraceful thing I've ever seen in boxing.

I don't think it was a robbery but it was a close fight, he was consistently hitting Calzaghe with counter right hands all night but I thought Calzaghe outworked him and Reid had a point deducted for something in the fight, I scored it 115-112 Calzaghe if I remember correctly.

It was real close, could have gone either way. Reid was the one throwing and landing the heavyer shots (no change there then)

Not that I'm saying Calzaghe would have beaten a prime Roy, but that wasn't a prime Calzaghe who fought Reid. It wasn't even a fit Calzaghe. He had food poisoning and a broken hand.

I watched that fight and have it on dvd. In Joe's book (No Ordinary Joe) he claims he wasn't well in the training camp before that fight.

I still made Joe win that contest, only by about 2 rounds though.
