you can hope and wish if you want too . . . i dont see manny having the size and power to pressure him and make him loose his steam in this one. but i guess we'll have to just wait and see.

I even remember Bernard coming in so light during fight night against Oscar just so he can squeeze in a little more speed against the bloated welter. Even though I thought that was a bit of an overkill on Nard's part, I think Oscar should go the same route as his business partner on Dec. 6 because quickness, speed and stamina are really the only factors that would keep Manny in this fight.

This is what makes this fight so intriguing for me. I'm a Pac fan and I didn't want it... but what if...? You know? It's a no-lose situation for Pac unless he ends up eating from a tube, but what if we've all been shortchanging him and this supposed mismatch? Yeah let's wait and see.

your 100% right its a no loose situation for manny no matter what . . . if he looses its not too bad cause then it was a mismatch and if anything at all it did was show a lot courage on his part. if he wins he will have truely done something special.

and dlh its a loose loose, if he wins big woop he beat up a little guy. if he looses well his seeming calculated risk may be the biggest boxing blunder ever.

imo the only reason this fight is even interesting is how well/bad does many do . . . and the fact that its p4p vs. arguably the biggest name in boxing.

Pacquiao will be fine at 147. People make a big deal that he started his career at 106 pounds. But, that is very decieving. He was probably MALNUTRITIONED. Manny was a poor street vendor, who used to sell cigarettes and bubble gum for 1 peso each(about 2 cents US) for a living.

In the Philippines many people eat 1 meal a day, usually a plate of rice and a small piece of fish. The rest of the day is small snacks or even a plate of rice with a BANANA as the main dish.

He is a rags to riches story. If he started his career in a 1st world country, he might have began his career in a higher weight class.

Bigger won't be better that night. The Pacman's superior speed, agility, power, etc. will be too much for ODLH to overcome. JAT

i think this why the drag queen is walking around at 145, he's gonna be hopkins this time against a bloated SFW. gatti used to weigh 160 on fight night when he fought at 140, i don't think that makes him a middleweight.

yea this was what i was gonna say that is what people's problem with this fight which is understandable. i have been one of the few to pick pacquiao to win but like i have said various times Pac is gonna have to fight a perfect fight to win. obviously i think he can do it but its way easier said than done...
