I'd love to see old Roy in prime form again but I can't fool myself into thinking he'll be back having seen more than enough of other great fighters go out the same way.

Atleast Roy went out against a top pound for pound ranked fighter (unless he decides to fight on), seeing JL Castillo get beat up by an average fighter on Wednesday Night Fights was a sad sight.

Hopefully it won't get to that with Jones.

part of Roy's problem is that once he got away from his father he never allowed anyone to hold any authority over him,... it's bad to be your own boss, manager and trainer,.. his corner looked like a bunch of Yes Men,.. guys afraid to tell a shot fighter he doesn't have it anymore.
