I think Kessler beats Dawson soundly its a fight they should take.

I think there's a multitude of negotiating going on as we speak. I think Hopkins is the first option for Kessler. Before such a fight has fallen through we will not see serious negotiations for a Dawson fight IMO.

Besides: If Hopkins wants to fight on who should he fight? I'd suspect Kessler to be pretty high on Hopkins shortlist.

I doubt Kessler is that high on Hopkins' list, Kessler doesn't really bring anything to the table for Hopkins right now.

I'd say Calzaghe is out and so is RJJ. It's hard for me to compile a list where Kessler isn't high considering this.

There's lots of potential opponents at 168: Wright, winner of Lacy-Taylor, winner of Pascal-Froch, Inkin and Bute.

Dawson started at 168, and is 6'3" more the natural size of a cruiserweight or heavyweight. Kessler started at 154 and is a natural super middleweight. Dawson would have a size advantage, but Mikkel would win I think because of his better boxing skills.

I'd like to see Kessler vs. Bute for the Ring title at 168.

Probably yes legacy wise. However Hopkins might consider Dawson a more dangerous prospect (he really is a cruiserweight ) than fighting the smaller Kessler. Remember Hopkins has always liked to feast on smaller guys.

Anyway Kessler must be high on the list. At least no.2 if Dawson is the only other.

honestly kessler and his team are so dumb

we have young guys like dawson out there calling out names left right and centre and fighting them

and we have kessler hiding in some hole in denmark periodically emerging to fight a bum
