Yep, that's what I think. If Kessler doesn't figure this out soon he's going to realize one day that he wasted the prime of his career fighting bums!

This reminds me of Cus D'Amato's managing of Floyd Patterson when he repeatedly told Patterson what fighters he could beat and what fighters he could not beat.

When Patterson finally gave a shot at Liston on his own, he under-performed big time.

Hopefully that won't happen to Kessler the next time he faces a highly rated opponent.

i THINK Kessler is just gonna do what JC did. He is gonna continue to fight nobodys over in his home turf and claim he is the best and that everyone is ducking him. THen after a few years he'll calll hopkins and RJJ out of retirement and beat them up and claim to be a ATG.
Its sad too cause Kessler has some skill and he brings a decent name and good fight to most out there
too bad his old man wont let him take the chances he needs to become a great fighter.

Mikkel Kessler's promotor Mogens Palle has turned down an offer from HBO for Mikkel Kessler to fight Chad Dawson.

Palle states to danish TV2 that: "Dawson is a cruiserweight squeezing down to 175 lbs and he does not bring enough to the table".

HBO offering Kessler this fight seems like a clear indicator that Calzaghe has told them he won't be fighting Chad Dawson.
