Lucky for me, I don't need to do ANYTHING. I'll just sit back and watch who Kessler faces next.

Palle: I dont know, but its too big a risk, for too little money, Mikkel doesn´t deserve that.
It's from an interview Palle gave to danish broadcaster tv2 yesterday. Here's the deal besides the point I wrote about in the opening post which I got from text-tv:

      (link: http://sporten.tv2.dk/article.php/id-18001732.html )

"Dawson is not a big name. Mikkel has fought for big bucks and the money in a Dawson fight is not big enough." Palle says.

      Q: Can Mikkel beat Dawson?
A: I dont know. It is a big risk for few money. Fewer than Kessler deserves.

Q: Has the relationship to HBO suffered from this?
A: Well we just cannot bow and say thank you sir. We have our own interests as well. Mikkel will fight anyone at SMW, but a fighter dont go up 2 divisions just like that. Look at Pavlik losing to Hopkins.

Q: So Kessler wont go up in weight?
A: If Calzaghe or Hopkins want a fight at 77-78 kilos, we will play along.

Q: When will Kessler fight again?
A: I am not sure. Probably february or march.

Let's see who's worth the risk in February or March.

But for Calzaghe, Froch, Bute, Abraham and Kessler it ain't true anymore. Now EU-fighters, who wants to get recognized, has to travel to US in front of few celebrities to fight against poor quality fighters fore less money and less spectators - why??

For years US has been the "world champion" in baseball, ice hockey and basketball, but only to lose when they have to fight abroad!

Maybe it is time be a little humble and Dawson calling out Calzaghe and Kessler says is all !!!!!
Why are you so insecure and jealous of the U.S? Get over it.

Didn't the U.S just win the Gold in basketball? Get a clue dumbass.

I am not insecure or jealous. Only a ****y US-fan would come to that assumption. I criticized you - get it!! Why is it, that foreign fighters has to do so much before getting a minimum of credit from US fans? We have to fight you in your backyard. If we lose, we were some EU-trash, if we win it was because we fought a shut US fighter.
If Kessler beats Hopkins, Hopkins was a shot fighter. 2 weeks ago, Hopkins was atg winning over Pavlik. A month ago Pavlik would beat Kessler, Calzaghe, Bute and others with ease - get it

              Are you claiming that:

              1. Kessler has fought and won against ANYONE worth a damn?
              2. Lacy has fought and won against ANYONE worth a damn?
              3. Roy Jones Jr. was not shot AT LEAST 3 years ago?
              4. Manfredo is a great opponent.
              5. Eubanks was in his prime.

It seems like you are. -Get it?

No i suddenly didn't claim that!!!! But in fact it stats what i was saying. Kessler and Calzaghe has to be so much better to get any credit at all. Mention one fighter in the 160-175 division who could top that 5 claims?
In a week Kessler will be calling out Hopkins and Taylor. If the fights don't come on, are they then ducking Kessler ??

Jan(DK), this isn't a Europe vs America issue. Even if it was, it is Europe that looks bad.

Kessler is being offered a chance to fight for a world title, live on HBO during prime time. I've no doubt he'll be well-paid for it too.

There are a large number of very, very good boxers who do not get such an opportunity. To turn it down and then claim 'America doesn't give us a fair chance' is ridiculous. There are many American boxers who do not get an offer like this.

Look at Steve Cunningham. He is American. He is very talented. He is the best fighter in the cruiserweight division right now. He has shown a willingness to fight anywhere in the world, against anyone. But so far, Kessler has gotten a lot more attention from HBO than Cunningham has.

Being that you are a complete moron, it's comforting to know you say this. I can now say with 100 percent certainty that Kessler gets destroyed.
