Bob Arum and everybody else still expects Margarito to fight for peanuts. Pay the damn man, he fight his ass off!

Margarito is a bigger draw than what you think man. I'm pretty sure more Margarito fans watched the fight than Cotto. Don't tell me if the fight made more than 400k majority were Cotto fans right?

The hype was on Cotto's side, Mexicans are passionate when it comes to boxing. If you heard Arum after the fight he said there were alot more buys from the southwest than anywhere else. There must be alot of PRs in the SW if that's the case. Every Mexican I knew and their family/friends watched the fight.

I don't doubt the passion of Mexican fans, but the mainstream draw was all Cotto. It's just because of the way their careers have gone, Cotto is just a bigger mainstream star. Before the Marg/Cotto fight, Cotto was the bigger draw. It'll be closer now, but I still don't know if Marg is going to be as big of a draw.

I understand what you're saying, don't get me wrong but when a fight of this magnitude & hype with a PR against a Mexican, alot of Mexicans come together to watch the fight, that's why I think the success of the fight had to do alot to do with Mexicans. Mosley who is a bigger name than Margarito, and it did less buys than the fight between Cotto vs Margarito.
