I've said this before, even if B-Hop had the weight advantage....Pavlik has 17 years younger and the favorite to win.

Anyway you slice it, B-Hop deserves alot of credit for not just winning against a young elite fighter, but shutting him out for 12 rounds

I'm with Reed on this. I don't want to take away from what was an amazing win for BHop, but there is no way that was the real Pavlik in there. It just wasn't. I know Bernard has a lot to do with that but there just had to be other factors at work also IMO.

C'mon reed, Pavlik is almost 20 years younger and he probably comes to fights 167-168 even at middleweight.

After everyone loses, they weren't the same for that fight or they didn't get up for the fight or they were sick or the size difference was too much.

This guy was talking about how Joe Calzaghe was running from him, yet the size difference wouldn't be too much against Calzaghe? He'd be moving up to 170+ for that fight also.

          Everyone has a story.
exactly. Everytime Hopkins gets a big win, theres a story.

Its hard to argue that statement...After he beat Tito...Tito wasnt a legit WW( yet he KO a guy Hopkins went the full 12 rounds against) Tarver...Tarver was weight drained after the weight loss...Winky...Winky was a cheated...It always happen...I guess its part of life man!

lol. I knew people would find a way to degrade this win. I knew when the fight was over, I was thinking...I wonder whats going to be the reason this wasn't great?

I thought I was the only person who looked at it like that! I mean dont get me wrong Pavlik tried his best but still people need to acknowledge the fact that Hopkins made him look bad by taking his best weapons away from him....Hopkins seems to always get screwed out of his hard fought victory!
