Now that's a boxing fan right there. Anybody who can learn to respect a guy who beats one of your favorites is awesome in my book.

I'm not his biggest fan but I am a fan of his craft...The guy is a pure genius inside of the ring...He deserves a ton of credit and I tip my hat to him!

Future hall of famer for sure!

I considered myself a fan up until the Vanderpool fight but for whatever reason, my opinion of him gradually faded and my dislike for him grew, especially during the Eastman fight where I just plain started to hate the guy (yet I kept on watching, I guess I tuned in hoping to see him lose). Despite not really liking him, one thing I’ll always have for him is major respect, win or lose.

Words can't be used to how much i admire and respect Hopkins.

He is truly a great fighter.

I'm glad now that ever since his big win over Pavlik he has started to get some respect again.

I don't see anyone surpassing him as my favorite fighter for a long time. A LONG, LONG TIME. The man just keeps coming back, he's like Jason Voorhees, you think he's dead, but somehow he comes back and murks like 10 more people.

I originally thought it was Barrera who came back from the dead more than anyone with great performances, but...

Hopkins has definitely surpassed him IMO.
