Pretty cool article. Although I do disagree with some key points. First off PLEASE DONT COMPARE Rocky Marciano with Joe. They should not be in the same sentence. It does a disservice to the legacy of Marciano. This guy had the balls to compare The win of Marciano over Joe louis, to the win of Joe over Eubank. That was laughable. NOT EVEN CLOSE. He should be punched for saying that. Also Joe being the first to dominate Hopkins in the second half of the fight! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Did this guy even watch the fight. Slap puching somebody in the shoulders and arms is not exactly dominating. More than half of the press row in the fight had Hopkins winning that fight but most importantly MOST PEOPLE AND BOXERS THOUGHT HOPKINS WON THAT FIGHT. At the end of the day Joe is a good fighter. I would even go as far as to call him a great fighter, but to call him one of the all time greats is reaching too far. He just never faced legitimate opposition when he could have. If he would have I'm sure his record would not be undefeated. Marciano fought the best and beat them, even more he fought legends and beat them. Marciano fought in an era that was MUCH MORE TOUGHER than Joe would ever dream off. Or should I say dread. Again great fighter of his era BUT NEVER AN ALL TIME GREAT.

Not saying I'd argue he is/was. I think each has the right to make that claim on their own merits without arguing one better than the other. That's for all of you; I have my take too.

As to the post above...I wasn't comparing the Louis and Eubank wins. I was comparing when they occurred in each man's career. Also, I wasn't dissing Rock's big wins. Just contrasting the short window he operated in versus the longer one for Joe.

It wasn't for Alvarez but Lopez was allowed to pick it up when the ever dependable Alvarez missed weight by a couple divisions or so.

I stopped reading when this moron said Calzaghe is the only man to dominate Hopkins over the 2nd half of a fight. What a joke. Just another Calzaghe butt liker grabbing at straws. Calzaghe needs to get in a real fight.

That's 6'1". ...Are you sure?? Calzaghe definitely looked shorter than both Hopkins and Kessler, and more of a size with Jones.

The fight program said 6'1 last weekend. Other sources, 5'11. I've stood next to him and he's got me by two inches or so and I'm 5'10/5'11. MAybe it's in the shoes. LOL
