It's Dawson's World If HBO Wants It!

Bernard is a brilliant ring tactitian as well as businessman.
If Roy presented himself in a competitive light, Hopkins would have jumped all over the opportunity to invest in another encounter with Jones.
But the fight was not even close and Bernard has no safety nets left.
Calzage proved each point he wished to make.
HBO could promote a Chad Dawson-Bernard Hopkins match if the Network wished to aim high instead of retreading the same ole 'out of their prime timers'.
    The winner would get Joe.
The Pavlik spectacle certainly placed Hopkins on the A list to attempt to beat up yet another younger champion.
It's the only real path to another Mega payday for Bernard.
There is only one problem with this scenario.
The 26 year old Chad is a true talent who can probably defeat all three of the
    mentioned pugilists.
And Bernard is too savvy to get that brave or that competitive as his clock winds down.
Pavlik was in over his weight.
    Dawson would not be.

B Hop is not an ******* he can obviously see what everybody else sees and know. I'm willing to bet you don't box and don't know much about boxing as it shows in your writing. RJJ is the Jordan of boxing are you F**in ******? 5 fighters he never fought he ducked! Who has Roy really beat a very inexperienced Hopkins, who would beat his a** today, and James Toney who lost 20lbs the week of the fight, and a 5ft 9in Montell G. When Roy did step up and fight good fighters he got KTFO! aND HAD HIS ASS HANDED TO HIM THAT'S WHAT hOKINS WAS TALKIN BOUT rjJ Never learned the basics and that is why Rjj is where he's at now. RJJ will never be in the top 100 fighters of all time. Keep this post so 5 years you can look back and say he was right.

        was this in an article?

As for Bernard's comments- extremely classy. The camaraderie that exists between boxers, even though who have been foes in the past, is kinda beautiful and humbling. Only other boxers know what they go through, we're just mere watchers...

Hopkins is a class act whenever he's not promoting a fight, anybody who knows him mildly knows this.

I love the way Bernard put it, he was respectful, classy, and truthful, without coming across the least bit mean spirited.

He doesn't want to take advantage of Roy, and he doesn't want promoters to take advantage of his name.

              That's real ****.

Jones won a decision over Hopkins fifteen-years ago and there was hope by both that a rematch could happen at some point in 2009, but the rematch was riding on a Jones win. I never was a roy fan really while growing up to tell the truth but he could box a lil bit never really found wut he did enteresting all he did was try to knock out ppl it was never a give it ya all fight, watch the rjj fight against montel griffin the second one and a lot of other fights and his style is weird too, he fought of reflexes and instincts like benard said, he never really did the basics, his style was elusive and quick not really that much power and has alotta flaws like his left hand hanging down to his knee leaving himself open. Also he never really won the big fight 1-2 against bum ass tarver, knocked out by glen johnson and taken apart by Calzaghe...literally!!! and all his wins were against boxers that werent really knownthe only big big fight he won was the neavyweight fight against John Ruiz. Roy is diminishing right infront of our eyes his entertainment...gone....flash....gone....he might as well retire while he still can because wut if he fights Chad Dawson.....Bernard Hopkins........they will beat his ass and Chad is slowly becoming a big time boxer with very quick hands.....Roy hang em up son or show up you still got it sumhow by fight sumone like hopkins or dawson or tarver again (**** he might beat tarver but not dawson or hopkins)

You sound like a dumbass...If u believe ex is a racist then u have some mental deficiencies. ernard only made such aprovocative comment in order to gain amental edge over joe & to sell the fight like he did against trinidad. & furthermore it may not be ok but everybody knows that for any minority fighter to get beaten by a white fighter or any athelete in any sport is considered a disgrace by the public. It's a stereotype but it's the way the public perceives it nonetheless. So knock it off w/ ur nonsense. & second. Joe won a sloppy decision against bernard. Bernard controlled the fight all the way thru. Joe beat him w/ output of pnches. He barely landed. Look at RJJ face after joe fight & bernard's. Bernardd didn't even have a busted lip. He's never been beaten up in a fight. & lastly. Chad didn't even win against glen johnson. They gave him the W. But Glen clearly won that fight. It's clear that he's not ready for joe yet. & Who else is there for joe to fight if not bernard ****head. Joe vs. bernard II will sell b/c bernard is the villain. There's no one left for joe to fight in terms of big money. Chad couldn't even sell out his hometown @ this stage of the game. Stop it ****head.
