    I was just thinking that

I remember Miranda saying that he had the best training camp ever, he was in amazing shape, he felt strong but he felt that Abraham's power was wayyy to much for him. "I just don't know, he was wayyy to strong for me"

    I admire his honesty.[/QUOTE]

I remember that too, I believe Miranda said "waaaayyyyyyyy to strong, way to strong" he repeated himself a couple times

should have at least 1 or 2 tune up fights to get his confidence back.
That's one of the reasons why I think Sturm is next and not Pavlik.

Marquez must feel like an idiot for quitting.

It seems like his body punches did do some damage after all, or maybe Abraham went into the fight with an injury.

Abraham did not show any signs of it but there was really no reason for Marquez to quit at that point. I guess he felt he was too old for the boxing business.

I don't blame him but I do feel he should've either given it all he got or not have fought Abraham at all.

definitely... no one likes a quitter

including Abraham himself who seemed very dissapointed soon as he learned Marquez wouldn't be comin out for Round 7.

In an interview Abraham said he was just gettin ready to step it up and go to work to get that KO.

I guess Marquez did well in saving himself.

                I agree.

During the postfight interview BTW, AA looked very troubled as his ribcage was hurting. He said he was in pain, but I didn't understand what he meant as he said broken or 'prellung' in the ribs. I guess it meant broken or bruised.

Of all of Abraham's fights somehow he most looked most vulnerable in this one. Marquez and his corner are ****ing idiots for not noticing that Abraham was hurt. It was VERY obvious, at least to me.

Did you notice DURING the fight? I must admit that I didn't.

He looked his usual self in that fight.
Hope he recovers well and soon.
