  • King Arthur and the broken bones.

Arthur Abraham most be the toughest yet most fragile fighter in the world today.

He fought with a broken jaw in his first fight with Miranda.

He fought with a broken rib in the second fight with Miranda.

And now it appears he fought with 2 broken ribs against Marquez saturday.

During the postfight interviews he said that he hurt badly in the ribcage and that he couldn't tell if the ribs were broken or just bruised.

Now the result of the x-rays have been made public. Abraham had rib no.4 and 5 in his right side broken at the time Maquez quit. I suspect that Marquez might not have quit had he known...

Abraham says to german Bild.de that he cannot sleep at night because it hurts so bad when he's breahting.

    wow...

    very unfortunate news

he is a King... if he can afford platinum in his jaw... he can afford some platinum for new ribs too

he will get well soon, and handle business with Sturm or Pavlik

Oh yeah. The Bild article also mentioned that Abraham is on an 8 week vacation in Armenia and that Team Sauerland has restarted negotiations with team Pavlik. They say that they havent heard anything from the Pavlik camp since Miranda was demolished in Florida.

First off, I'd like to mention that if those reports are 100% accurate than I find it incredible how tough this guy is. That **** is crazy.

Secondly, I'd like to mention that Miranda said he felt Abraham was wayyy too strong for him. The interpreter did not say that, he said something else..... I think he said that Miranda felt weak or something but I speak spanish and that's what Miranda said.

            The dudes a beast.

                Yup.

I remember Miranda saying that he had the best training camp ever, he was in amazing shape, he felt strong but he felt that Abraham's power was wayyy to much for him. "I just don't know, he was wayyy to strong for me"

                I admire his honesty.

i dont blame Pavlik... after the beating he took from BHop, no way he steps in with Abraham this soon...

should have at least 1 or 2 tune up fights to get his confidence back.
