calslappy lost to hopkins imo. he was lucky to be given the decision like taylor was lucky to be given the decision against hopkins the first time.

      Uh.

Unless it's someone you already beat down in 1 round. Right?

Because even if a decision like that feels like a cheat in the heat of the moment. When you put it into perspective afterward. Hopkins' full and accomplished career still bearing juicy, sweet fruit at 43 years of age vs. never-bloomer Calslappy's sagging, bottom-heavy career ending in slapping up a shot and faded legend at 37 years of age. Decisions and linear titles all a sudden don't seem that important when the moral victories are all won.

Hopkins did'nt want to fight at all. He somewhat tried in the first round but then gave up when he realized Joe was'nt staying down. If B-Hop was the better fighter he would'nt have to play so many games and tricks just to make a close fight. He milked that BS lowblow for a reason. You're just too much of a fan to realize the truth.

hopkins did suck against joe , but so did joe, and calzaghe did not win that fight, and he definately didnt kick his ass, since bhop looked perfectly fine after the fight. calzaghe is such a EURO *****, when the americans run there mouth they actually have the intentions on fighting that guy, they dont chirp and then refuse to fight like he did with pavlik and like he is doing with bhop now. the guy needs to shut his mouth and enjoy retirement or get his ass back in the ring and actually fight some realy light heavyweights, not a 43 yr old middleweight or a pathetic legend who hgas been knocked out by johnson and tarver, and tarver did get abused by dawson, so how does joe think he is the really champ or that dawson doesnt deserve a shot. i hate you joe

I have to agree here. It was painful to watch. Both guys should have had their purses held. It was like a Bones Adams-Kevin Kelley rematch.

Uh. One of about 3 clean connections Calslappy made the entire fight.

Calslappy have never been willing to leave his backyard to fight the best when they were at their best. Don't kid yourself he ever legitimately wanted a piece of Hopkins in 2002.
