Good post, and I agree with it. The highlighted part is the reason why a Calzaghe-Dawson fight is pointless, and the reason why Calzaghe would do Dawson the same as he did Lacy IMO.

dawson and lacy arnt even in the same dimention...lacy is just a power punching body builder..dawson can st8 up fight and has mad skill..i think it would be a great fight..it would show what dawson is made of

Johnson has no chance. Rough tough big punching aggressive guys like Johnson are perfect for Joe. Glenn is good, but he doesn't have the skill required, nor the speed to hit Joe enough. Easy UD for Calzaghe.

Only someone with confidence can beat Calzaghe. I see only Hopkins beating Calzaghe. His performance vs Pavlik was more impressive than JC's vs RJJ.

Jones lost interest and had no will to win that fight. He didn't want to get KO'd and hung around for the paycheck IMO.

Im not comparing the two skill wise, I mean in terms of not being experienced. I just see calzaghe being to much for Dawson at this point in Dawsons career. Of course anything can happen but I just cant see it happening.

Hopkins has a difficult style. It took Calzaghe one knockdown and 4 rounds to figure that out. The next 8 rounds he adapted and he won. Hopkins fought differently and better against Pavlik because Pavlik is not Joe Calzaghe. Hopkins didnt make Calzaghe fight his fight after round 4 because he was unable to do so. If they fought again, it would be the same situation just quicker, because Hopkins would be older and slower. What Hopkins did to Pavlik was incredible, which makes what Calzaghe did to Hopkins more incredible. If they fought again, it would be a more definitive win to Calzaghe. That is all.

Nah, he had trouble with their dirty tricks, headbutts, punching after the bell (and when Joe was outside the ropes!), general ****tiness.
