Associated Press, Yahoo, and ESPN scored the bout 114-113 for Hopkins. This fight was very close the deciison could have gone Hopkins way, it was scored a SD don't forget. Calzaghe said he was hurt against Hopkins.

Being honest i dont see that Dawson is more proven than Kessler. Kessler went to Australia to beat Mundene he also beat Beyer and schooled Andrade not forgetting he went to Wales and fought infront of 55,000 he has also had 40 fights.

Dawson has has 27 fights never left the States and hold wins over Tarver and a disputed one over Johnson who lost clearly to Clinton Woods.

Dont see it, Kessler is more "proven" he has also won more titles.

I think Dawson is more proven as well. But 40 year olds Tarver and Johnson, one of whom he really lost to, a sliding Harding in the last fight of his career and a still unproven Ademek aren't really the stuff of legends either.
