Calzaghe beat the only young fighters in Kessler and Lacy around his weight class he moved up beat Hopkins who destroyed a 26yo Pavlik.

You need to realize Roy has looked bad for a while now. Tarver has already wooped him, so has glen Johnson. All these guys made him look bad.

Jones in his Prime was simply to good for a fighter like Calzaghe to deal with. People are getting caught up into thinking Calzaghe has destroyed these great fighters, but the truth is they are just past it. Hopkins almost won and he was 43, that's saying enough. A lot of people can beat jones at this stage. Dawson would make Jones look like a fool and confuse him to.

Calzaghe has a carefully picked Career and he's slowely brainwashing everyone into thinking he's a legend beater. He still hasn't fought a single good Prime fighter yet.

joe would beat Roy even of Roy was in his prime. Roys style was to standback, then go in for a few fast combos. Joe would not allow a prime Roy to do this. He would be constantly on him, like he was on Saturday and even in his prime Rou would ont be able to cope with that.
