If Calzaghe was any good he would have gotten that washed up shell of Roy Jones out of there! That's a fact.

I didn't see him look old and washed up against Trinidad... That was how long ago? 10 months ago? lol

So he went from a still competitive fighter to a washed up bum in 10 months. I don't think so...

I don't see any difference in the outcome if it were 10 or or 15 years ago.

Calzaghe owns Jones at any age. His style just plain overwhelms Jones and Jones is not a good technical fighter.

Get over it, quit crying, man up, and admit your boy got soundly beat by the better fighter, and the outcome would of been the same regardless if it was 5 or 10 years ago.
      Great post! I agree 100%.

So what 'adjustments' would JC do against a mid 90s Jones?

Evidence you need to watch some fights and increase your boxing knowledge. A prime Roy would have never sat back and countered against any fighter, he would use his athletic style overwhelm Joe. There was no answer to a prime Roy Jones

I used to think that Roy would UD Joe, but knowing that Joe was dropped and hurt by a 39 year old Roy Jones leads me to believe Jones would have knocked Calzaghe out.
Prime Roy was too fast, too agressive and too strong. A phenom.

                  Calzaghe isnt a knockout puncher
thats like me saying Corey Spinks
or Pharnell Whitaker should Knock guys out to prove there good.

                  ****head.

I guess Camacho would have always beat Ray Leonard
Berbick would have always beat Ali.

                    you get the drift...

roy jones is just too old for boxing that's why he was beaten by calzaghe...if that was ten years ago, calzaghe would have been blasted out of space..rjj even knocked him down in the first round at 39...calzaghe beat him coz he's younger.. but rjj is definitely the more skillful fighter.
