You'd bet more money on Lewis to win over Calzaghe? Is that what you're saying? Because Calzaghe v Lewis a fight is a childish suggestion when one is twice the size of the other.

Calzaghe hasn't lost a pro fight and a fight overall for nearly 19 years. Lewis was knocked out cold by two very poor heavyweights.

    End of.

Hard to define "better" is that record of wins, KO etc?

2 different weights also. Id say about 55-45 to Cally.

"Knocked out cold"? You mean that shot from McCall that Lewis beat the count on?

It's ludicrous to suggest that being unbeaten makes Calzaghe better than Lewis. Marciano had 0 losses. Ali had 5. Does that mean Marciano was better than Ali? The more top class opponents you face, the more chance there is of losing. Lennox tested himself against more top quality opponents, bested them all (except Bowe, who gave up his title rather than fight him), avenged both his losses, and dominated his division more thoroughly. That's why I rate him over Calzaghe.

both have proven themselves at their respected weights, both have put to bed many great fighters, joes in a great position but the big man was to be fair the best heavyweight for a long time, lenny gets my nod as the heavyweights class is what it is,lenny was the complete package,he could hit, box, outwit everyone..joe is a super fighter but if you want to be pickey hes does not ko many.

any GREAT HW has an advantage over fighters from the smaller weight divison imo cause HW Boxing is so unpredictable and regardless whether you have a GREAT chin you can still get KTFO or rail roaded by one punch

                    Calzaghe has the better legacy.

Lewis got KTFO by 2 bums and quit boxing after getting a TKO victory against Vitali only because of a cut when everyone knows what would have actually happend had the fight not been stopped. Vitali would of chewed him up and spit him out had the cut never happened or dare I say if he was even allowed to continue regardless of the cut. Vitali was winning and Lewis knew it.

He then all of a sudden retires while still in his prime.

More like run away from a Vitali rematch.
