There is some much bollocks on here. 43 year old Hopkins... Blah, blah, blah, Honestly then, a younger Hopkins who went for it alot more would have beaten Calzaghe? Really this is too much. Calzaghe is the MASTER at beating come forward fighters!!! And Lacy was, according to people on this site (you know who you are) the best thing ever to happen to boxing. On this fight Calzaghe was still winning when the cut happened- much respect to RJJ for the balls he showed. A true great.

Ok to be fair age is not important in the Hopkins fight as Calzaghe is 37, same with Jones. We don't ***** about Dawson who is 26 and beat 40 year old Tarver, which is much worse than Calzaghe's age gap.

Chris Eubank was hardly shot, he'd only lost twice, both to steve collins before calzaghe beat him.

Jeff lacy, he was the best thing since sliced bread untill he came over and got his arse kicked. If i remember correct calzaghe was not even gonna win this fight.

Sakio bika, he got sent home with his 2nd loss, his first being a close with sam soliman who he's now beat. He seems to be doing well for himself

Peter Manfredo jr, Bit of a mismatch, but the fight would have went the 12 if terry oconnor had not stopped the bout.

Mikkel kessler, he aint a bum, and he's not shot, he's the best 168 fighter in the world just now. Remind me what happened? Ohh he got beat UD

Bernard hopkins, One of the smartest, if not the smartest fighter in the sport at the moment, After joe beat him "ohh he's shot" then 6 months later he beats pavlik in a one sided fight and he's the muts nuts again, make your mind up

Jones jr, half you yanks said he was gonna win, then as soon as he loses, "hes shot" Maybe roy is a bit past it, but that was not a shot roy last nyt, that was a lazy roy who just did not throw punches. Having shot had little to play in that fight, after the flash kd in the 1st round he did not even press the matter, don't try and kid yourself that roy is so "shot" that he could not even apply pressure for the last 30 seconds of the 1st round, he just stood there like jeff lacy and got hit all night, lay back on the ropes and gave calzaghe angles.

it was no secret that lacy was left-hook happy and not that great pre-calzaghe because he had tough fights agaisnt guys that he shouldn't have.
