Hopkins was fighting at middleweight and I cleared that up...both giving a reason why he stayed as long as he did as well as saying he should have moved up to fight Joe, who himself didn't move up for a long time...it took a former middleweight of 43 years of age to move up.
You see, nobody I know can recall Joe trying to get a fight with Roy in his prime. I ask and ask, but nobody has delievered me the source that says Joe not only called out Roy JOnes, he sent a contract over to Roy's people to make a fight happen.
Joe was fighting at 168, Jones, 175.
and I don't recall any sources saying Roy ever wanted Joe, so what is your point?
Why did Bernard and Roy wait until 2008 to give Joe a fight? Its not like they didn't hold any of the bargaining chips before. Roy was the biggest star outside of DLH.
I don't recall him wanting a fight with Joe, ever.
But I'll ask again,
Why did Bernard and Roy wait until 2008 to give Joe a fight?
lol all these mad ass dudes.
Head to head, in actual matchups, Joe>>>Bernard & Roy.
"bu, but, they weren't in their primes."

Sounds like news to me.
You ever heard of Brenton Wood?
"I think you got your fools mixed up, you must think I'm somebody else".
Get a hold of yourself mija. You've been arguing online so long, you don't even know who you're talking to anymore.

I thought it was a waste for him to fight Roy Jones. Jones has been washed up for years now. But all these people who gave Roy JOnes a chance are now saying it doesnt mean anything cause he was shot.
Joe is an all time great point blankComment

How about this: Joe Calzaghe avoided me. How come he never fought me?
Roy did it because he needed a fight to establish himself again. Like Roy said, back then, Joe needed Me, Now, I need Joe. Simple.
Hopkins: MONEY.
In the end, the victory over Roy will mean nothing. It will be the same as Marciano beating Louis, Holmes and Berbick beating Ali, Lewis beating Tyson.
Shot is Shot.
He will get credit for being undefeated and having solid victories over Lacy and Kessler.Comment

Because nobody heard of the man. And, Joe was not even in his division.

Not me. I never cared until Joe brought it up with his: Everybody avoided me; I'm the best, blah, blah, blah.
When you are in Wales and nobody in America knows you, it's kind of hard to get you a fight...let alone not being in the same division.
And don't tell me fans should know Joe because he was a World Champion:
How many people on the street can name the Heavyweight Champions; amongst other Champions. Especially, those fighters that are the size of jockeys.Comment
