joe said he hurt his hand around round 8... if you look at the fight he did stop throwing with the same authority and power as before roun d8

He may have, but he may not have. It could be an excuse as to why he didn't knock Jones out. But I can see it being sore from the amount of times he threw and landed on Jones.

Well make sure you always include Tarver and Byrd along with Jones Jr. or people will not buy it.

Athletes, especially at their age when they did it, fall apart fast. One day you can look good, the next, liked a $2 hooker.

The fact that Hopkins nor Roy wanted anything to do with Joe is just as telling.

Hopkins was fighting at middleweight and I cleared that up...both giving a reason why he stayed as long as he did as well as saying he should have moved up to fight Joe, who himself didn't move up for a long time...it took a former middleweight of 43 years of age to move up.

You see, nobody I know can recall Joe trying to get a fight with Roy in his prime. I ask and ask, but nobody has delievered me the source that says Joe not only called out Roy JOnes, he sent a contract over to Roy's people to make a fight happen.

Joe was fighting at 168, Jones, 175.

So you couldn't actually name any actual specific incidences could you? thought so.

OH also, why did your hero duck Glen Johnson twice?

                  thanks.

I can name one specific case, no wait make that two.

                    Joe SD Hopkins
                    Joe UD Jones

They didn't seem to have a problem taking the fight at this stage of their careers, why do you?

If they were so confident of their abilities to beat the man Joe, why wait untiil 2008?

btw, I couldn't tell you anything about why Joe hasn't fought Johnson. I'm not his manager.
