What would it take for Calzaghe to earn American respect?

Would victorys over either Pavlik or Dawson be that special or would it just be dismissed as he only beat young hopefuls?

Calzaghe couldnt get big fights when Jones was in his prime thats a fact, i dont buy the ''he's dodged the big fights'' because he hasnt, he probably wasnt famous enough to fight Jones or Bhop years ago.

So what could Joe do in the future to earn your respect?
