I wish this fight would happen but I agree that Calzaghe and his people will never let this happen. I have never questioned Joe's talent or abilities but it seems with the exception of Kessler that the fights he takes carry minimal risks. Even though I'm a huge Jones fan it was clear months before the fight that Joe was going to had his ass to him on a plate and he did. If Joe where to fight Chad Dawson and win emphatically however I would be satisfied and agree that Calzaghe is as good as some say he is. Fight a fighter who poses a threat, not a washed up heartless fighter.

Glen Johnson wasn't a convincing win at all and an old Tarver. And people go on about Calzaghe beating old fighters. Beating Dawson does nothing for his recognition.

for the same reason that Berto would never be able to fight Margarito. Yeah he's a champ but as much as I hate Calslappy, he is a legend in the making, Calslappy doesn't need Dawson or glen, or anybody for that matter. Dawson should fight Pavlick or kessler before even thinking about challenging the man. Calslappy has nothing to prove and certainly nothing to win.......

Dawson IS NOT a big puncher.
Joe has great defense and a great chin.
Joe throw zillions of punches.
Even though Joe c. cant knockout your grandmother with Dawson glass jaw it would be a distinct possibility.
Plus Dawson has no heart.

and sometimes its not about winning or losing. just because I want Calzaghe to fight Dawson doesnt mean I think that Dawson would beat Calzaghe. I just want to see the fight, because its between two top guys and would probebly be very entertaining.
