i don't think he can ever be an atg. as stated earlier the comp is just not there, and he is to old, and does not have the time for any new greats to emerge that he can beat. it will be a long time before anyone at heavy can become an atg.

Sorry but there IS something wrong with Wlad's style of fighting at the moment, HW boxers who were all loved down the line all have something different about them...Wlad had it early on but after losing by KO a few times he lost that something that made him exciting.

And the competition isnt helping him either, He probably need someone like Haye(after making a good name) at HW to give him the hype thats needed.

Wlad could have the darkest skin, have an american flag tattoed on his ass, have his house shaped like apple pie and he still wouldnt be regarded as an ATG.

It's not his skin, or nationality or anything of that nature.

The problem is HIM, simple as that. He's a very good fighter and props to dominating the division.

These are his problems

1) His style
2) His competition (not his fault he's in this era but that's just the way the cookie crumbles)

its his competition that is his problem, or should i say the lack of it. the other way of looking at it is to say that the lack of competition is a good thing for him as he can turn around and say that hes is the best HW - bottom line hes just not an ATG.
