Moreso than the WBC or the WBA. The WBC making numerous exceptions for champions not to fight the fighters that actually deserve a shot and their rankings are often ridiculous. The WBA is about as corrupt as it gets having multiple champions in the same divisions. Today's WBO champions often are the true champions of the division or a competitive #2. Calzaghe was, Pavlik is, Campbell is, Klitschko is. Competitive #2s are fighters like Williams, Holt and Dzinziruk.

You complain about the alpahbet belts. How we dont need them and instead of having 3 recognizable belts people like to talk about the WBO as if its a legit title. I guess i must be in denial the WBO is just as legit as the WBC, IBF and WBA?

It's as legit as the others and despite idiotic errors (ranking a dead guy for example) it has steered clearer of absurd politics than the others who seem to trade on their age to make preposterous declarations and decisions. Examples:

the IBF sanctioned the Mayweather Judah fight despite the fact that Judah had just got his ass handed to him by Carlos Baldomir in a title fight. Sure he didn't pay your fees. But that doesn't mean that Judah didn't lose a title fight! Judah should have been stripped of the title after losing. Farce.

The WBC is ridiculous with its nonsense approach to ranking and its random rule changes. Emeritus champ? Emeritus shut the fuck up.

Wether we like it or not...those 4 belts are legit. We only wish that they did not exist coz they are corrupt. In a perfect world, the RING belt should only be the one recognized. It has the better rules.

One sanctioning body, one champion - period. Force the divisions to compete for the lone belt and have only one true champion per division.
