margarito got on it for beating cotto. cotto got on it for beating mosley. calzaghe got on it for beating lacy. hatton got on it for beating tszyu. etc...

Did Cotto get KTFO a few fights before beating Mosley? What, he didn't? That's right he was putting together a pretty impressive run of wins together as a dominant 140 pound champ before moving up and beating Judah for the WBA belt at 147, THEN he beat Mosley.

Margarito is a little bit more of a questionable one however he did hold wins over top contenders in a stacked WW division and his recent loss to Williams was a very close fight. He also beat a Cotto who was held in significanlty higher regard than Mijares.

Calzaghe got on the list for beating Lacy? The decade-long run as the WBO SMW champ didn't factor into that equation?

You guys don't seem to understand, Vic got dominated and KTFO by a fighter who was far from an elite guy only just over a year ago. Beating a guy ranked in the lower half of the list doesn't put you in the top ten in the sport p4p under those circumstances.

Arrogance ALWAYS gets snuffed!!! he wants me to watch vanes fights and i've had, and not impressed. The dude opens up ppv events, not even good enough, or loved enough by toprank to make a televised ppv card and yet this guy claims vanes is the next best thing Im starting to think maybe this poster is vanes himself

i never followed Raheem's career... although i was there for that fight since Vanes was on the undercard at Staples.

even without beating Mijares, Vic was considered by many as THE man at Fly and/or Super Fly... Mijares just stamped it and made it official.

tell me who on vic's resume pre mijares lunches him to p4p status now with the victory? why does vic get the pass over donair, since you claim vic should be p4p because he beat the man that beat the man but yet nonito beat vic so what about donaire? respect on internet message boards are something i could care less about, especially if its your respect. I don't hate vanes. It's foolish to hate someone you've never met or know nothing about isn't it? It's your pathetic hype job of your fighters of same nationality that's hated.
