I wouldnt go as far as to believe that, remember he also said he wasnt even hurt when the knockdown occured. But I can see that maybe he overlooked donaire, but that doesnt say too much about Vic's common sense..donaire aint no joke.
VIC's biggest mistake was him trying to get up TOO early from that knock-down totally ignoring his 10 count...
thats why he staggered and fell back down and that was that. Had he stayed down for 8 seconds, collected himself, got up... the crazy mofo he is, i wouldn't be surprised one bit if he went after Donaires head and KOd him in the next few rounds.
