Yeah...but I'm not quite sure I'm in favor of it. I guess I should be. It's up to the person to decide who he/she feels they are inside...who they want to represent. I agree, it does stretch the credibility of international sports when the competitors are barely from the country they're representing. The guy who scored the winning goal France at Euro 2000 was a born and bred Argentine. There was serious talk a few years ago of having Carlo Cudicini play for England; despite being Italian he qualifies to play for us on residency grounds. I'm not really sure what can be done about it though, since it isn't technically illegal.

On a side note that Manfredo stoppage deprived us of the most hilarious beat down we would have ever saw. It was disgraceful. Joe didn't hurt Peter Manflaps at all, but Manfredo was refusing to fight back, he literally wasn't in a position to continue, Joe was in the midst of a what seemed like a 100 punch combination. lol

Even though people ripped on him when he got "fat" (because of his knee injuries and partying I hear), he was still better than a lot of players. Hell, I wish I was that good with bad knees and being overweight.
A lot of people rip on him bad, but I can't.
