British sense of humour, he was being ironic, embarrassed by that awful Manfredo "stoppage".

      great ref
I would have let it continue. Amir got up; that's all I need to let a fight go on.

P.S...Anyone know if thier weigh-in is open to the public? I work directly across the street from MSG, and would like to check it out if so.
Or like what happened to Merqui Sosa against Roy?

Ah, well it's hard to tell on this board. They are a lot angrier on this board which doesn't allow for sarcasm...so it's confusing.

I agree... I mean, this was only my assumption, but a lot of the UK posters are being tongue-in-cheek when they speak. It leads to a lot of this "all Brits are biased" thinking when people don't get the joke.

Which funnily enough was in New York.

This is the one board I don't get. Everywhere else, I'm fine with Brits but here, I'm unsure the way the come across...it's like they aren't on the level of humor the others are and act like little hateful kids...some, anyway.

We just don't like seeing American fighters being beat into vegetables.
That was what I responded to and for me, I thought it was a somewhat direct statement with the obvious humor of insult. It came across as flat.

I didn't see the other with Manfredo.

I don't know what the whole Hoopla is with the whole American Boxers vs. United Kingdom boxers.

Duude, UK boxers and European fighters suck. They might be good "across the pond" but here in the states; they just might don't got it.

Please someone name me some Legacy boxers from Europe that a majority of people would agree with.

(i.e. Mike Tyson was the greatest KO fighter of this generation. A majority of people would agree)
