I would have let it continue. Amir got up; that's all I need to let a fight go on.Comment

Or like what happened to Merqui Sosa against Roy?I can see it now. Jones doing his usual covering up while against the ropes, and Calzaghe hitting him with his machine gun slaps, only to have the ref stop it via TKO for Joe. Sort of like what happened to Manfredo. This fight will be much more fairly judged here in MSG.
P.S...Anyone know if thier weigh-in is open to the public? I work directly across the street from MSG, and would like to check it out if so.Comment

I agree... I mean, this was only my assumption, but a lot of the UK posters are being tongue-in-cheek when they speak. It leads to a lot of this "all Brits are biased" thinking when people don't get the joke.Comment

This is the one board I don't get. Everywhere else, I'm fine with Brits but here, I'm unsure the way the come across...it's like they aren't on the level of humor the others are and act like little hateful kids...some, anyway.
That was what I responded to and for me, I thought it was a somewhat direct statement with the obvious humor of insult. It came across as flat.We just don't like seeing American fighters being beat into vegetables.
I didn't see the other with Manfredo.Comment

I don't know what the whole Hoopla is with the whole American Boxers vs. United Kingdom boxers.
Duude, UK boxers and European fighters suck. They might be good "across the pond" but here in the states; they just might don't got it.
Please someone name me some Legacy boxers from Europe that a majority of people would agree with.
(i.e. Mike Tyson was the greatest KO fighter of this generation. A majority of people would agree)Comment
