        I'm for fighters fighting around the world since it helps promote the sport and if they would listen, it would help promote themselves as a Global Brand.

        But in the end, it's about who can give me the most money now.
        That's why Calzaghe stayed in Britland and didn't make the move until the amount he wanted was given. He didn't want to take a risk of going to America and losing for a smaller purse, even if those build-up fights would eventually get him the biggest payday of his career had he fought Jones Jr. in his prime.

        Lennox ended up making more money in the States than anywhere else...and so did RICKY HATTON.
        Calzaghe has made good money throughout his career by staying in Britain. Why does everybody make the arguement that he needs to go to America to be successful?

        Just using your arguement.

          America = HBO + Showtime

          American fighters get more chance of going on the networks.

          mexican and puerto rican fighters live close to USA so they go on the channels too. 'Euro fighters' would have to travel thousands of miles every fight just to get on the channel when they can earn money in their own country and not lose the home ground advantage, some have families you douches.

          so basically American fighters have better exposure and more money behind them therefore their resumes should be better than fighters who arent given the same backround. how do you expect a frenchman to get enough money to fight a top name? Boxers have to pay the mortgage too dumbasses.

          as for the skill level of these 'euro bums' you only have to look at the heavyweight divison, the biggest division of them all.

                Its true. Some Yanks just expect our fighters to come over, stand in a ring and wait for a top opponent to come out. Either that or fight on ****ty undercards when you can make double fighting top of the bill in front of 20,000 people at home.

                      simple do what pac did, find an american promoter.

                      the HW division is the worst division in boxing, its no wonder these eurobums dominate it.

                      All these eurobums in the HW division fight in the US or are based in the US or are on HBO/Showtime.
