one thing about it, nonito and vic are likely to meet again if they go on a winning streak. they're just hoping nonito loses to someone so they won't have to fight again, but the fight is likely to happen.

Shaw and Vic knows that they will not win against Donaire, that's a simple truth! As Donaire said, Vic did not actually improve on his style and if ever they'll meet again, he will be Kayoed in the same fashion the first time they had met. Shaw and Vic are smart enough to use Shaw apparent personal grudge against Donaire! Vic and Z. Gorres had their draws and i believed too, Vic won by unanimous decision, but the thing is, he can not even pull out an smart win over Z. Gorres! He is not yet an legitimate A class fighter.. unless Vic-Donaire 2 will happen to settle everything!

It's Vic loss not Nonito.. Top Rank has Montiel and Arce.. Shaw forgot that.. Even if Darchinyan unfies and beat every single fighter out there, his resume would still be questioned of getting Knock the F U C K out and not avenging that.

lol at Vic's lover Gary Shaw making an excuse for not giving Donaire a rematch... He knows what will be the exact result if they meet again...

that's exactly what's wrong with boxing.....gary Shaw's personal beef means we wont see VIC vs DONAIRE......and because Shaw claims he doesn't know who Tavoris Cloud that fight won't happen either......If the man has earned the #1 contender status and is the mandatory challeneger who the hell is Shaw to say that guy will not be fighting for the title.......Chad Dawson was once a #1 contender and was given his shot at a title, who knew who he was, all he was doing was fighting overmatched opponents in his home state of Connecticut......Even now, how many people know who he is......I like Chad, but truth be told he Glenn Johnson was robbed of a clear decision victory when they fought and Chad beat a very past his prime fighter in Tarver, and if you really watched that fight Chad was fading at the end, and was starting to get caught by Tarver at the end.....So as far as I"m concerned I hope that CHad loses his next bout, and if he resfuses to defend against the mandatory they should do the right thing and strip him of his title......Gary Shaw is a promoter not the president of a boxing sactioning entity........

Interesting that dawson apparently considers fighting Mikkel Kessler next. that fight might be the only semi-big payday for both guys. The problem will likely agreeing on a weight. Dawson wants 175 obviously and just as obvious Kessler wants something lower.

Both makes sense from either fighters perspective. A catchweight fight however would allow both guys to keep their titles which might be the solution as this fight is a very big risk for both.

there is a slight allegiance between promotors when a boxer screws them.
arum understands this so nonito is out but arum will deal with shaw on
                montiel and arce.

kessler being asked to go up in weight and fight in u.s. are two too many hurdles for kesslers small time team to even comprehend imo.

it would be sad if palle only lets mikkell fight in the soft euro arena and take the route of least resistence.

you are a total MORON!!! and huge HATER. Vic just punished a fighter that was favored 3 to 1. before you chalk this fight up as just another fight, remember Mijares was ranked #8 P4P, and where is Donaire ranked!!! watch some boxing before you comment you idiot!!! talk as much as you want, as Donaire was walking out of his fight i got a chance to tell him that VIC had won and you could see he was shaken by it... nobody, absolutely nobody wants to fight Vic right now... God bless Mijares for being ****** enough to fight him.
