Mijares HAS to be the most overrated fighter I've ever seen

Mijares fought such a ****** fight, he tried to outmacho Darchinyan which was definitely not the way to go, he never really got into his groove, kudos to Darchinyan though, fought much more disciplined that I thought he would.

I think Vics awkwards style threw him off, and when Mijares was dropped and hurt in the 1st it totally threw him off his game.

Maybe, he did almost the same thing to Kirilov where he threw Kirilov off and made him look horrible but either way Mijares fought a ****** fight.

He's definitely better now than he was a year ago but I honestly believe Mijares lost that fight because of what he didn't do, not what Darchinyan did. Don't take this the wrong way, Darchinyan deserves a lot of credit.

mijares isn't over-rated he was just over confident. vic is better than we thought.

Boxing fans should realize that styles go further beyond "boxer" vs "puncher"...

Arce and Vic are not considered "boxers" like Mijares and Donaire...however it goes beyond just labeling them with those names...Vic doesn't allow himself to get hit as much as Arce...Vic is also a better and more accurate puncher than Arce...Vic also sets his punches up better than Arce...

Mijares is a good boxer, but he got caught up in Vic's fight and Vic got his respect EARLY because of his power..Mijares got a bit ****y while Vic kept his poise and stuck to what he found was working...Also like Shane Mosley is sometimes considered the "slick boxer" when facing someone like Vargas or Mayorga...Mosley is still more of a "hyperactive" fighter...Mijares is a good boxer, but he also does like to play machismo, throw a lot, and fight..which didn't work vs a good puncher like Vic

This was the third time I saw him fight tonight. I don't understand how you get on pound for pound lists beating Jorge Arce, but whatever. I've seen Vic fight on Showtime about 5 times and he's not a good fighter. Not at all. He only throws one punch, so if you have any boxing ability whatsoever, you can counter him all night. How the hell does a guy billed as a "master boxer" lose to Vic Darchinyan?

No disrespect to Vic fans cuz your boy earned it. I'm calling Mijares out as the most overrated fighter I've seen since following boxing.

Nobody here is better at kicking a fighter when he is down than you are. I might be impressed if you ever say it BEFORE the fight.
