the only guys i see beating darchy are bigger men with sharp hand and foot speed who fight tall behind an accurate jab.....besides that style i really think he can beat anyone at 115 and even 118 or who knows even 122!!???

Did Vanesboxing pay Mijares to look like he never boxed before in his life? I swear, I've never seen Mijares look so bad than that. He wasn't throwing his usual combinations, he wasn't moving around like usual and jabbing. Now I don't want to discredit Vic because I think it had to do with his awkwardness and power punching that made Mijares think twice and lower his punch output since Vic hit so hard. The way Vic used control aggression worked because I bet Mijares expected more counter opportunities based on completely wild shots. Only problem was the wild shots were landing too. Definite surprise for me because I expected Mijares to box silly around Vic to win an easy UD.

Never been a fan of these low weights really, so haven't seen a lot of each guy. But I expected Mijares to win, but damn. Vic is badass!
These lower weight classes can sometimes be the best **** on TV...at other times, it can look like a couple of little buzzsaws covered with feather dusters...kind of boring. I follow Vic and a few others because, like many other fools, I'm a sucker for a puncher.

Wow. I'm stunned. Mijares was just totally off, even before the first round KD.

I can't stand Vic and Team Armenia but credit to him. It's weird to think that the KO stopped Vic from getting a wide UD win. Who'd have thought that???

Yea, I'm gunna start watching more now. I like Vic, not the most skilled fighter overall (Although more skilled than he was given credit for clearly), but hell of a punch.

Excuse me, Mr. Vester, but I can't see this title as unified until Montiel has had his saying.

Vic Darchinyan came into this fight looking to silence his critics.

Dude impressed me and earned a new fan. Cong**** Lil Vic.
