The Hopkins punch did not include a push. Look closer. Try to see it from different angles if possible. It looks like a push, but it isn't. Joe was caught cold in the first round, and regardless, he wasn't even hurt because he got right up after one second, no sign of wobbly legs or glazed eyes. He was just slightly embarrassed. Big deal.

Joe can slug it out with the best of them. Look at the Brewer fight, for example. Brewer may not possess the hardest punch in the world but Joe and Charlie battered each other with bombs and Joe was barely phased. Also check the Robin Reid fight from 1999. Reid caught Joe all night with endless right-hand bombs. Again, Joe was barely even phased, and consider the fact that he was injured AND supposedly recovering from a bout of food poisoning. Eubank has a huge punch. Joe passed the test.

As mentioned earlier, Kessler hit Joe with heavy shots, but kessler was the one who looked more bothered by Joe's body shots.

I ain't worried about Joe against Roy.

calzaghe's windmilling will cause rjj to have flashbacks of his fight with johnson and then he'll go into a defensive shell on the ropes and then calzaghe will eventually KO him.

joe came in, he had poor footwork and was off balance, hopkins thre the punch, it landed flush, joe wobbled, hopkins leaned/pushed - joe went down

rewatch the KD, theres one angle of it that shows hopkins shift his weight forward onto joe and lean on him.

if he hadn't then imo joe wouldn't have been Knocked down.

Roy Jones hits harder then anyone Calzaghe has faced in his career.

          Carry on.

Actually if u watch the fight you will see it wasn't even a genuine knockdown,He was caught off balance with the punch then walked down the rest of the way by Bernard.

A clean punch, followed by a head and a push. Hopkins certainly helped him down.

I don't recall seeing Calzaghe eat any good shots. He usually isn't much of a risk taker in my opinion so most guys don't get a good shot at him. Plus all that slapping is sure distracting ahaha

Debatable. It was a peach of a right hand from Mitchell who I'd say is a harder puncher p4p than Tarver. Dont think Tarver has huge power, just a perfect shot.

You are wrong. I have watched that fight maybe 30 or 40 times, including several times on 2 x slow motion to count all the clinches (163, I think there is).

                      It is NOT a push.
