    Good one.

I also think going back to 15 rounds would be exciting.
We easily compare todays boxers to yesterdays but forget they went through hell those last few championship rounds.

And How many fights do we see today where boxers barely make the distance? Maybe 15 would make for more ko's.

      ...................

My suggestions before was to make gloves smaller as well as the ring.

Added suggestions: Possibly shorten the fight so fighters don't have to pace themselves so much.

The big suggestion: Give bonuses for Knock-downs and Knockouts.

Limit holding/clinching. Use a card system like they did in Pride when fights got boring. When you get a red card, it comes out of your paycheck.

      ..............................

Really, you don't need to get rid of the way boxing is now since it holds to tradition but this could be a new boxing league.
you know how in soccer if the score is tied, each team takes turns trying to score a goal from point blank. yeah boxing should do something like that but with punches.

actually... they should go back to 15 rounds.

but who pays the bonus? hbo, showtime, or espn or the promoters or the athletic commission?

Remove the sanctioning bodies have one sanctioning body and force the champe to fight whoever the #1 contender is at least twice a year. Remove the intermeditate weight classes (junior welter, junior middle, super middle, etc.)

i highly doubt any boxer (save power-punchers )would sign a contract with that kind of stipulation.

true..maybe both can agree on the contract and both put some money aside and if one wins by ko that one takes the bonus and if its a dicision they get their money back...

                    This is an excellent idea.

And reed, tag team boxing would be amazing. Name your dream team? Imagine Roy Jones and Librado Andrade on the same team.
