Revise Boxing NOW to make it more exciting: what would you do?

We did this before but it's fun to hear new opinions.

To compete with the "ADD/ADHD"" generation and MMA rise, What would you do to revise boxing to make it more exciting for the fan.

    ...................

My suggestions before was to make gloves smaller as well as the ring.

Added suggestions: Possibly shorten the fight so fighters don't have to pace themselves so much.

The big suggestion: Give bonuses for Knock-downs and Knockouts.

Limit holding/clinching. Use a card system like they did in Pride when fights got boring. When you get a red card, it comes out of your paycheck.

    ..............................

Really, you don't need to get rid of the way boxing is now since it holds to tradition but this could be a new boxing league.

Remove the 8 count, let a guy get pounced on.

Change the rules, make sure you cannot take a step backward. Each step backward means a point deductions

I think Russ Anber had a good idea on his show, whenever a boxer is knocked down, stop the clock while the referee is administering a count, resume it when the referee says box, some controversy could be averted there.

UFC give's its fighters bonuses for Knockouts. If this incentive existed in boxing, we might see fighters taking more chances, therefore making it a more exciting fight.
